If your child is learning how to write, a wonderful idea is doing this salt biscuits recipe with letters and shapes. You can do his/her name, words and much more.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tea cups of flour
  • 1 tea spoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon of salt
  • 3 soup spoons of grated parmesan
  • 1 cup of butter
  • 1 small onion blended
  • Optional: 3 tea spoons of pepper sauce or water to make the dough gather

Prepare salt biscuits:

  • In a bowl mix all the ingredients.
  • With a rolling pin open the dough in small pieces and use letter cutters or other desired shape format to do cut your delicious salt biscuits.
  • Bake it in a pre-heated oven in a 180oC around 20 minutes or until it remains gold.
  • Serve it cold or hot.

Those salt biscuits are an excellent option also for your parties, because you can use the cutter with your party theme (check our post here) shape. Moreover, you can do a box with the person’s name and decorations.
